A Micro-Adventure for everyone
What is it?
Ray likes quirky, and as part of his book signing tour he has hidden 6 bottles of Special Forces port and whiskey across the UK. The locations will only be identified through cracking the codes that lead to the 8 figure grid reference of each, but it’s not as simple as that…
How it works
Each day on his bike tour he will release a single “Capital Letter” that will be inside his book displayed at a bookshop, or hidden within plain site on his daily vlogs or photo’s on Instagram. You will collect the 6 letters and decypher them into numbers that will form a potential 6 figure grid reference combinations. With more clues added, you will discover what 20 mile area the bottle is in. You can now jump in your camper, car or train and get within hiking distance, before the last numbers are uncovered…
Each week the letters will represent different numbers.

The Final Trace Numbers
On each Saturday morning, the final numbers are released at 6am so you can get an exact 8 figure fix, and trace the bottle that will not only allow you to claim victory and get drunk, but will also give you a free micro-adventure weekend with Ray.
Convert the last letters into numbers, then look at the 20 mile radius map we will show you, and see what grids you think fit a feature where the bottles may be hidden. (A few more clues will be revealed)
