The World’s Worst Ever Book Signing Tour

It’s not about the book

Ray is peddling solo out of lockdown and not stopping till he’s rode 3000-miles, stopped off at 40 pubs, met a load of unsung heroes along the way and even flogged some signed books of his debut novel “The Clinic” to raise money for The Bowra Foundation, all from his fragile bike trailer.

During this epic adventure he’ll be writing a book that won’t be boring you with typical top shelf Special Forces topics about overcoming PTSD, drug addictions or harnessing fear with mind over muscle cringe. This shockingly hilarious account of navigating life with crippling hangovers, endless ambitions and monster challenges to plug multiple mid-life crisis, will be a refreshing and authentic read.

Latest news from the road

Ray’s daily updates tell of near badger misses, abuse from chav’s that complain his book has no pictures, and the pure exhilaration of suffering saddle sores. His on the road mentorship and interviews with local unsung heroes, randoms and the dregs of society are worth a watch for inspiration, and uncontrollable rage.

Ray’s crap photo’s…

This is a man who has been stopped by the police twice on this tour for speeding, so don’t hold your breath for competition level image capture. Have a look at the journey through the medium of Ray’s photographic story telling ability that’s suitable for the pre-school years learning!

The Bowra Foundation

The Foundation was formed by Mark Bowra, a former Special Forces officer in 2019, to inspire resilience amongst people suffering from neurological disorders through practical help and physical challenges alongside members of the Armed Forces community.

Building on his own experience recovering from stroke, Mark devised the Bowra Bag, a toolkit to aid rehabilitation, communication and independence for people suffering from a range of neurological disorders.
